  • A Beaudry or Baudry, also known as Lamarche, from the Anjou region of France, is recorded in Trois Rivières, Quebec, in 1647; another, also called L’Épinette, from the Maine region of France, is documented in Montreal in 1665; and a Beaudry from La Rochelle was documented in Montreal in 1670. The secondary surname Desbuttes was recorded in Quebec city in 1682.
